This
family owned winery features some very unique award winning wines. Opened
in 2002, Collver Family Winery is located on I-72 Exit 20 in
Barry, IL. The winery was the first to open in West Central
IL in over 100 years.
Owners, James & Phyllis Collver always make you feel welcome. Join them as they host one of their hilarious dinner

All wines are produced and bottled at the winery. Collver Family Winery
specializes in French-American hybrid grapes including (but not
limited to) Chardonel, Vignoles, Vidal Blanc, Traminette, Chancellor,
Cayuga White, and Chambourcin.
Stop by the winery and check out our award winning wines. Collver Family Winery knows what it takes to please the most discerning judge. Most recent awards include the Best Fruit Wine in the State in 2007 for their tantalizing Cherry wine. They have been awarded over 35 medals from the Indiana International Wine Competition, Mid-America Wine Competition, The International Eastern Wine Competition, as well as the Illinois State Fair. Collver Family Winery Pumpkin Wine has won many awards and continues to sell out each year due to its popularity. |

Pike County White
A medium bodied, semi-sweet wine with upfront apricots and soft pear and pineapple notes rounding out a smooth finish. |

A dry red wine. Medium-bodied blend of Chambourcin, Chancellor, and Merlot with slight black cherry flavor and a long finish. |

A semi-sweet, light body red wine with a plum flavor and a crisp finish. |
Concord
A sweet red wine made from the native American concord grape. |
Cherry
A semi-sweet wine made from a blend of sweet and tart cherries. |

The Right Temperature For Drinking
- 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 5 degrees Celsius is the standard temperature for domestic refrigerators (place wine bottle in ice/water bucket for about 15 minutes or in a refrigerator for 3 hours).
- 50 degrees Fahrenheit or 10 degrees Celsius is the ideal cellar temperature.
- 65 degrees Fahrenheit or 19 degrees Celsius is considered room temperature.
Chilled:
- Sweet wine - around 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 5 degrees Celsius
- Sparkling wine - 43 - 46 degrees Fahrenheit or 6 - 8 degrees Celsius
